The Kia hamster campaign may be one of the most ridiculous automotive campaigns ever made, but people love it and they always want more. This brief was better than the usual "make it rad" direction because there was actually something to say: the Kia Soul had been re-designed. So, we decided to go down the metaphor route. Yes, that old chestnut. We then paired it with the hottest song of the summer which made for an entertaining little piece of film that was well received.
The campaign was named Ad of the Day on Creativity-Online and Adweek. It also picked up a Silver Clio and racked up close to 20 million views on YouTube.
