Hey, Basil here. I’m currently a Group Creative Director at TBWA Chiat Day NY. I studied history and philosophy at the University of Toronto and then went on to graduate from the Academy of Design majoring in advertising. 

I’ve worked on a wide variety of brands including: Nissan, Kia Motors, The California Lottery, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Toyota, Stella Artois, Nestea, Virgin Mobile, Covergirl, Proctor & Gamble, Novartis, Nokia, The Toronto Zoo, Habitat For Humanity, Kraft foods, Timex and Dove.

I began my career in Toronto and was ranked one of the “Top 20 Most Awarded Art Directors in Canada” by Strategy Magazine. In 2011 I moved to Los Angeles to work at David&Goliath and have been living in the US ever since.

Aside from advertising I enjoy film, screenwriting, ancient history, astronomy, magic, and Freemasonry. And in case you were wondering why “BasilDazzle.com”, well that was my stage name when I performed live magic shows as a kid.
